New appointment at Sector7: Anna Schingen becomes Head of Silver Living Strategy

Berlin, 19th January 2023. Sector7 is expanding with a new appointment starting on 16th January 2023: Anna Schingen will assume responsibility for Sector7’s Silver Living business division and will bring her many years of expertise in the conception and implementation of contemporary Silver Society living and service solutions to Sector Seven Investors.

“Silver Living is a megatrend and currently the single biggest growth market,” says Sector7 partner Rainer Bormann. “Anna Schingen not only brings a holistic understanding of service-oriented senior living and a wealth of experience in the area of product development, but she also has a compelling vision for our product and brand strategy in this area.”

“After more than 6 exciting years in the area of business development and marketing at DPF AG and the Tertianum Premium Group, I am looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to utilise my experience in the Silver Living sector, from the development of products and the brand to the implementation of a sustainable investment strategy,” says Anna Schingen, explaining her motivation for the career change. “I see myself as a designer and I would like to meet the challenges of demographic change and the associated social transformations in older age with a differentiated and continually up-to-date product palette. Sector7’s visionary approach, whereby the product and the brand are viewed and developed as a single unit, totally convinced me that I will be able to achieve this in my new role here.”

This new appointment will enable Sector7 to position itself in a fast-growing future-orientated market which is still underrepresented in the real estate industry. “Demographic change is irreversible, and a significant increase in demand is already foreseeable. The shortfall in the supply of barrier-free residential space on the real estate market is already huge. The product portfolio in the market has been unsuccessful in adapting to the new requirements of customers. Furthermore, the market often does not actually distinguish between the attractive assisted living and serviced living segment – with its focus on independence in later years – and nursing and care homes operated by the healthcare sector. I see huge development and growth potential here, which I would like to leverage for the benefit of Sector7,” says Anna Schingen.

From May 2016, Anna Schingen was the cross-location Marketing and PR Director of the Tertianum Premium Group and DPF AG. Since February 2020, she was also Chief Product Officer of DPF AG. She is an expert in the development and communication of real estate projects and Best Ager living concepts.
